To explain: Mike and I  finally started to get the lining paper up, eight weeks after stripping the walls in our lounge. We have had to completely lift the old flooring, re-plaster large areas of wall and have had new patio windows fitted. So it's quite exciting to be getting to the stage where the preparation is done and we can actually get on with decorating it!
