This is the second illustration I have in the final issue of Dark Valentine magazine.
It's illustrating the story "Spring-Heeled Jack" by Anna Caro. It is meant to be a pastiche of "The Illustrated Police News", a weekly illustrated newspaper that was published between 1864 and 1938 and which focused on sensational murders and stories with melodramatic illustrations.
