A portrait of Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones. Martha was a companion to the tenth Doctor (David Tennant). Martha has an interesting journey. When she first meets the Doctor she is a medical student - by her last appearance in the series she has become a freelance alien hunter, along the way working for both UNIT and Torchwood.

Doctor Who: Wilfred Mott

4 x 6 inches, watercolor/gouache, 2010.

A portrait of Wilfred Mott played by Bernard Cribbens. After a small role playing a newspaper seller in the 2007 Christmas special "Voyage of the Damned" but then returned in the 2008 season as Donna Noble's granddad. He finally returned again for David Tennants final episodes in 2009 and played a pivotal role in the Doctor's regeneration. Bernard's ties with Doctor Who actually go way back to the 60's when he played Tom Campbell in the second Dalek movies, "Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 AD" with Peter Cushing in the role of the Doctor.

This was a fun commission painting featuring characters from films and TV shows done in a gothic cartoon/art nouveau style. Featuring (from from the bottom clockwise): Cemetery Man (Rupert Everett), Lily Munster, Vampira, Elvira and Morticia Addams.

A portrait of Ianto (Gareth David-Lloyd) and Captain Jack (John Barrowman) from the TV series Torchwood. The portrait was painted for the client's Mum who is a big Torchwood/Captain Jack fan, and she was delighted with it.
